(CCC) Classic Chocalate Cake

 I'm a sucker for platting my food. Nothing attracts me more than an astonishingly looking plate of food. It instantly makes me wanna have it. They say your eyes taste your food before your taste-buds do!!

 

INGREDIENTS: 

  • Butter / Oil
  • Sugar
  • Salt
  • Egg (optional)
  • Vanilla essence
  • Self raising flour
  • Baking powder
  • Drinking Hot chocolate powder / Cocoa powder
  • Milk

ADDITIVES:

  • Whipped cream to garnish
  • Mint leaf
  • Chocolate sauce / syrup to plate


Let's get started, shall we?

  1. Get in all the wet ingredients & combine thoroughly, Sugar, Butter, Egg, Vanilla.
  2. Sift in the dry ingredients, Flour, Cocoa powder, Baking powder, salt.
  3. Give it a mixy business & look for consistency, not too runny, not too thiccc.
  4. Grease your cake tins, pour in the batter and bake it for good 50 minutes in an oven.
  5. Voila! It's that simple. 
  6. To make it look lavish, take a "white" plate, draw a thick patch of chocolate sauce.
  7. Cut a slice of that gorgeous cake, garnish it with some whipped cream or whatever you got, butter cream, cream cheese icing. Put that tiny mint leaf on top.
  8. Place the slice right in the middle & wait, you gotta take some pictures.
