Red Wine Sauce

 When it comes to ice cream, a good sauce is a must. We are past from chocolate, caramel, strawberry sauce. Let's go big with this Red wine Sauce!


INGREDIENTS:

  • Red Wine
  • Sugar
  • Cinnamon powder


Let's get started, shall we?

  1. Pour in your choice of wine in a vessel. I used the classic Cabernet Sauvignon (Fruity red plum & chocolate aromas, rich flavor & medium body)
  2. Add in the sugar & put it up for a boil. Use half the amount of sugar of the wine.
  3. Simmer it for about 10 minutes for the alcohol to evaporate. 
  4. Lastly add a sprinkle of cinnamon powder, you don't want it overpowering against the wine flavors.
  5. Goes best with simple Vanilla ice cream.
  6. I fell in love with the first bite.
