Red Wine Sauce
When it comes to ice cream, a good sauce is a must. We are past from chocolate, caramel, strawberry sauce. Let's go big with this Red wine Sauce!
INGREDIENTS:
- Red Wine
- Sugar
- Cinnamon powder
Let's get started, shall we?
- Pour in your choice of wine in a vessel. I used the classic Cabernet Sauvignon (Fruity red plum & chocolate aromas, rich flavor & medium body)
- Add in the sugar & put it up for a boil. Use half the amount of sugar of the wine.
- Simmer it for about 10 minutes for the alcohol to evaporate.
- Lastly add a sprinkle of cinnamon powder, you don't want it overpowering against the wine flavors.
- Goes best with simple Vanilla ice cream.
- I fell in love with the first bite.
